Welcome to Hair Loss Cure Secrets

Hair loss or technically speaking alopecia generally attributes to loosing hair from the head which leads to full or partial baldness. Actually we lose hair everyday naturally and it is a normal condition. But when the rate of loosing hair becomes higher than the natural rate it creates a problem which we generally call as a “hair loss” situation. The rate of loosing hair is stimulated by number of factors such as genetical factors, nutritional factors, psychological factors and infections. Some of these are totally controllable with a little bit of discipline while the others are beyond our control. In this blog I hope to discuss the practical methods of controlling and preventing of hair loss. I will share with you my own experiences as well as the experiences of the people who share the same problem around the world. As a regular user of Internet I used to seek solutions for my various problems in the net. The most valuable and practical solutions for my problems were given by the people who had the same problem.

I personally view that loosing hair is not only as a mere skin disease which causes to fall hair in an accelerated rate, but also as a social problem which directly affect to people’s interpersonal relationships. Therefore while giving proper treatments for loosing hair it is equally important to prepare the person psychologically to live with it until the situation improves. Otherwise the mental stress will have a negative impact on the entire process of eliminating hair loss condition.

Actually, for a man it is not that bad to have a bald head as far as he can bear with it mentally. In the final act what matters is how the world sees you as a person. Certainly that is not decided only by the appearance of your head. You may know people who voluntarily got a bald head by shaving out hair as an attribute of their personality and some of those are leading very successful lives. This is not an effort to influence you to accept the “bald head” as one’s destiny, but to pursue to see every side of the problem.

The other biggest problem involved with any personal or social problem is to keep away from the people who exploit the problem to their own ends. It has been well said that “every problem is an opportunity”. But unfortunately the world is organized in such a way to grab the opportunity without making a slightest effort to solve the particular problem. In this blog let’s make our best efforts to identify beforehand this kind of cheap schemes by taking the experiences of people who had been fallen into such schemes before as a guideline.

Once when I visited my niece in England couple of years ago, she asked me what happened to my hair, as it was lesser than when she saw me on my wedding. Actually she was a flower girl in our wedding. My instant answer was what I had read in a book some time ago.

“The God made only few perfect heads. The rest he covered with hair”

May be your head is also in the process of being perfected……

How to Know That You are Losing Hair

Today let us try to get a general idea about the nature of hair loss. You may find big words such as alopecia, alopecia areata or androgenic alopecia in different sources with regard to hair loss. But don’t be scared. All those will be explained in simple language in a coming article. It has been said that understanding the problem is half solved it. So we shall have a close look at hair loss problem and try to understand it as much as we can.

The first question is how do you know that you are suffering from hair loss in the first instance? If you observe an unusual loosing of hair when you wipe and dab your head after having a bath or when you comb your hair, it may be a matter to concern. If you observe hair is gathered in the towel or your comb a bit more than usual you may be suffering from hair loss.
But this may be a temporary situation which could be improved in couple of weeks. However if the situation prevails and the rate of loosing hair is in an increasing trend you should be alert and be cautious about further improvements. Hair loss could be started suddenly or it could be developed gradually in which case it is hardly noticeable. Hair loss could take place on entire body or could be confined to the scalp. The dangerous side of hair loss is, in certain instances the effect of hair loss could be permanent.

Hair loss could be identified by the following symptoms

Gradual thinning on top of the head
This is the most common category of hair loss which affect to both male and female. Hair starts to recede from the forehead of men which resembles to letter “M”. Women usually lose hair in a line in the middle of the head starting from forehead and experience a broadening of this line with time.

Circular or patchy bald spots
Some people have bald spots appear as patches usually on the scalp, but rarely on beard and eyebrows as well. The patches may be of one inch diameter. Persons with this type of hair loss may feely itchy or painful before the hair falls out

Sudden Loosening of hair
Hair could also be fallen out due to a physical or emotional shock. This affects to entire head of hair and leads to an overall thinning of hair without leaving spots or patches. You can observe this type of hair loss by coming out handfuls of hair when combing, washing or even at a slight pulling out of hair.

Full body of hair loss
Hair loss could be taken place on entire body including scalp due to certain medical treatments such as chemotherapy treatment for cancer. However the hair usually grow back after finishing the treatments

Therefore if you observe any unusually excessive lose of hair from your head or body when you comb your hair, wash your head or when slightly pull out your hair, it should be considered as an alarming sign to seek medical advises without delay.

How do you decide which type of hair loss you have and what caused it? We shall discuss it in the next article.
